The Story Behind The Design - Art work from our Sea Song Mermaid Throw by Sue Fantini 

The Sea Song throw is a special collaboration with the Good Throw Co. I was thrilled when Jess suggested a mermaid throw but also wanted to use elements from other painting that she loved.  Combining  strong colour & pattern,  we came up with this playful design which brings together our shared love of the ocean, tropical hideouts and of course Mermaids.

About The Artist

Sue Fantini is a visual artist based in Forster NSW whose expressive works are inspired by her love of travel, vibrant cultures and lush landscapes.

Working with  layered acrylics & digital art, Sue’s work captures the essence of the rich colours, bold pattern & intricate textures to create a tapestry of unique cultural details of some of her favourite destinations like Morocco, India and beyond.

Using playful composition and a vivid pallet, Sue blends abstract forms with recognisable imagery which invites viewers to embark on a journey of the imagination, where every canvas tells a story of exotic adventures and cherished memories, maybe taking them back to a special place or moment in time.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth after use

• For a deeper clean, use mild soap diluted in water

• Do not soak or machine wash

• Avoid harsh chemicals, essential oil sprays, moisturisers and creams

• Store rolled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

• Natural rubber may have a slight scent when first opened and will fade over time
