The Story Behind The Art

Like a wearable diary, charm bracelets weave together personal milestones and protection into a single story. This piece mirrors that concept: a collection of small parts forming a greater whole.

By featuring diverse symbols of luck from various cultures, it serves as a metaphor for life; reminding us that while our origins and appearances differ, we often share the same fundamental values.

About The Artist

Amy Gibbs is an Australian Artist and Designer based in the coastal town of Point Lonsdale, Victoria. Her deep passion for art and design blossomed during her studies, leading her to forge a successful career in the creative industry. With a strong background in fashion and textiles, Amy merges her love for print design, colour, and nature to craft bold, textured works that draw inspiration from the stunning landscapes around her.

Known for her playful approach to colour, Amy’s creations are intended to evoke feelings of joy and happiness, offering a vibrant escape for the viewer. She finds great joy in the process of experimenting with colour and texture, always striving to produce pieces that resonate emotionally. Amy is also passionate about the role of art in fostering mindfulness, particularly as a calming, creative practice that allows the mind to unwind. She loves creating alongside her three-year-old daughter, bonding over the shared experience of artistic expression.

Size - Approximately - 2.2 x 1.55 -1.6 m - Due to the woven nature of these beautiful throws, slight variations of approximately 5cm may occur during manufacturing. They are a generous size and are perfect for styling over beds up to king size.
